Find a position that works every day
Think about where you enter the lift on each level and the rooms you use most. A good position should allow comfortable movement around the landing as well as space for the lift itself.
Tell us about any wheelchair, walking-frame or assistance requirements. The selected cabin, door clearances and approach space need to be checked for your intended use.

Check the path into the property
The modular lift is craned into place, so exterior access matters as much as the internal layout. Street width, overhead obstructions, the crane setup area and neighbouring buildings may affect suitability.
Send photographs from the street through to the proposed position. A modular system will not suit every existing home; an assessment should establish this before detailed design or purchasing decisions.
Understand the building work
An existing-home installation may involve structural openings, supports, electrical work, weatherproofing and reinstatement. The scope depends on the selected configuration and building.
Bring your builder or designer into the discussion early. Confirm who is responsible for approvals, site preparation, delivery access, installation and finishing work in the written proposal.
Prepare for a useful first conversation
Share your suburb, approximate timing, number of levels and a short description of what you need. Upload plans or photos with your enquiry, even if the plans are still preliminary.
